As we mentioned a while back, Facebook rolled out their new Timeline design for all Pages. We gave all our clients the heads up so they wouldn’t be caught “naked” when their business pages changed and they had NO cover image to show for it. Whenever anything changes people grumble, especially when things in Facebook change. There were plenty of grumblings about the Timeline format, but we at IFPdesigns decided to turn the grumbling on its head and make this into a great opportunity for our clients to customize their pages in ways they never could before.
The Facebook Cover is a unique space to customize your page specifically to your business and make your page truly unique. Along with that, Facebook implemented new “Tabs” that can be customized to point wherever you like them to. Below are a few samples of the covers and/or tabs that we did for our clients.
TBone Racks
TBone Racks sells high quality mounting racks for surfboards and SUP’s (Stand up paddle board). They needed a strong Facebook cover to communicate their brand well. They also wanted to use Facebook as a springboard to get people to their website where the boards are for sale. Custom tabs with custom designs made that possible.
Poppas Fresh Fish
Poppas Fresh Fish has such a unique brand and business. They needed a unique Facebook cover to showcase their fresh seafood and point visitors to their website where they could sign-up for a “Fishcription”.
San Diego Refugee Tutoring
SD Refugee Tutoring is an incredible group of volunteers who give their late Monday afternoons to helping tutor refugees in the City Heights area. Their slogan is “Make a difference in someone’s life, Make a difference in your life.” Their facebook page needed to express that sentiment with style and warmth.
